Today’s quote of the week comes from Ed Latimore:
“Someone with half your IQ is making 10x as you, because they aren’t smart enough to doubt themselves.”
1. 7 content ideas to turn your followers into clients
Share a transformation of you or your client
It’s always better to be specific. Share the before/after of working with you, and don’t be afraid to support it with social proof.
Connect with your audience
Share with them something personal, be vulnerable and raw. This will help you gain their respect and trust.
Show behind the scenes of your business
Show them what it’s like to work with you and what you are working on. It will help you build that like, know and trust factor.
Do a mini training
Educate your ideal clients on something you know will help them achieve their goals. Make sure to add a call to action at the end of it that pushes your offer.
Do a Q&A
Not only will it help you boost your views and engagement, but it will also help you be seen as the expert that you are.
Don’t forget that not everyone knows who you are! People come and go. Make sure to reintroduce yourself every other week so people get to know you and your business.
Talk about your services
If you never sell, it will be hard to get new clients. People can’t guess you have an offer unless you talk about it.
2. Learn 10 years worth of CEO advice in 5 minutes
Matt Gray, the entrepreneurship coach with an active LinkedIn following recently published a gem of a post, compiling his biggest learnings from 10+ years of growing and coaching businesses.
Take a look and see what you think. One thing I’ve noticed with my customers is that although there is there’s plenty of advice available on the internet, it is difficult to understand which tips and how you should apply to your business.
Have you struggled with implementing advice into your framework? Why do you think that is?
3. The procrastination cure you don’t want to hear
Joey Schweitzer from the Youtube channel Better ideas published a video with the most realistic solution for beating procrastination.
He starts with a great paradox: people struggle to improve their life not because they don’t know how to do it but because they simply can’t bring themselves to do it.
In his video, Schweitzer shares a strategy that helps him do the thing that he needs to do every single time.
In summary, he calls for putting yourself through artificial boredom and eliminating any potential distractions. With no better options, your brain will prefer doing the work to doing nothing at all. Watch the video to learn how.
4. The most important book for online marketers
When it comes to online marketing, Brandon Kane is one of the GOAT-s. His strategies are behind the success stories of Taylor Swift, Rihanna, and many more.
The rest of us are lucky that he shared his methods in his book One Million Followers: How I Built a Massive Social Following in 30 Days. If someone asks me to recommend just one book to read on the subject, this is the one.
He goes into incredible detail on how to create content with organic growth potential, set up & test paid ads, and what are his best tips for each of the most popular social media platforms.
Read this book and be in a position to beat 90% of online marketers out there.
See you again next week.
